Guy, age 23, is the son of Ilan and Meirav, and brother to Gal and Gaya.
Guy studied computer programming. He is deeply loved by his friends, known for his cheerful, optimistic spirit. He had a strong passion for Japanese culture—he studied diligently until he could read, write, and speak Japanese. He was especially drawn to Japanese series, films, and the world of anime, and longed to visit Japan, to see the cherry blossoms in bloom, and to speak authentic Japanese with the locals.
He attended the Nova music festival with his brother Gal and three close friends. Gal managed to hide and survive. Two of their friends were murdered. Guy and his close friend, Evitar David, were kidnapped.
During the most recent hostage release, Guy and Evitar were filmed watching their friends being freed—pleading for their lives. According to testimony from those who returned, their condition is extremely serious.
Guy has always had a strong connection to animals. His dog Lucy has been waiting for him since the day he was taken. Alongside her, his parents and siblings wait in aching longing—hoping, yearning, and praying for the moment they can hold him in their arms again.
Dearest and beloved Guy,
We are breathing with you and sending you strength. Hang in there just a little longer — we are bringing you home.
Let us together hold the vision of Guy’s return — that powerful moment when he is finally wrapped in the arms of his beloved parents, Ilan and Meirav, and siblings Gal and Gaya.
The more people — men, women, and young people — who change their profile pictures to the faces of the hostages and the count of days in captivity, the more their presence will not be erased, their cries will be heard, and the more strength we can send them — to endure one more minute, one more hour, one more day, as we breathe with them and together hold the vision strong of them reunited in the arms of their families NOW. Let us, together, disrupt the status quo and bring them home.

May we courageously envision a future that is liberated from a cycle of hatred, traumatic loss and deep heart ache. One that embodies the words, “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”~Buckminster Fuller
So may it be 🙏🕯️❤️🩹🕊️
