May we live the question….

The words of poet Rainer Maria Rilke have inspired today’s blessing.🤗
They also echo a classic idea in Jewish thought: that there is wisdom in the asking of deep, sincere questions—“A good question is half the answer.”

Precious Soul,
May we ‘be patient with all that is unsolved in our hearts’.

May we grow ‘to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like
books that are now written in a very foreign tongue’.

May we let go of ‘seeking the answers’, and instead ‘live the question now!’

And in so doing, may we—gradually, without noticing it—live, one distant day,
into the answer. 💫
