A blessing, a wish, from my heart to yours.
Oh my!
I can’t even recall the last time I had a bubble bath. This picture reminded me of the days of my boys indulging in them… of bubble beards and bubble horns and heaps of other weird and wonderful playful imaginings! And found myself smiling widely! 🥰
Precious heart,
May you do whatever it takes for you to keep your playful spirit alive and thriving!
That energy of naughty eye gleams,
of cheeky tongues sticking out,
of tapping another’s left shoulder while you’re standing right of them,
of making fun and pulling legs.
And may you connect to your sense of humour, most especially in those times when the bubbles may be clouding and concealing things, and it may seem like there’s nothing to be playful about!
And in these times, should you lose your connection….
May you encounter another who hasn’t,
who engages,
and who….in a moment…playfully jolts and re-ignites your spirit of play,
of presence,
of gratitude,
of happiness for no reason,
of love for no reason!

Blessing backstory:
A while ago I decided to find uplifting images, ones that made me smile and lifted my spirit. And to send them together with a blessing, a personal wish, to my immediate family. Over time it’s become a ‘daily-ish’ morning practice via WhatsApp to a slowly growing recipient list. Recently I’ve started to share these blessings and images on social media too, with a prayer that they brighten the world of those who receive them.
