Segev, 27 years old from Dimona, son of Galit and Kobi and a sandwich boy - he has an older brother and a younger sister. He always makes everyone around him laugh. His family and friends say that he is a modest, quiet and slightly shy guy, with a big heart. He is ambitious and strives to achieve his goals and advance in life.

Segev worked in the family bakery together with his father Kobi and was just starting to develop an independent career in the capital market.

Segev was at the Nova party with his friend Assaf and from there they began to flee when the attack began. As they began to drive home on Highway 232, they realized that the road was too dangerous, got out of the car and began to run and hide. Assaf saw Segev being kidnapped alive and uninjured by terrorists in a white van.

Two months ago, after they received a sign of life from him with the returns in the last deal, Galit, Segev’s mother, gave him the following message: "If you can hear me, Segev, we are waiting for you. You have no idea how much we, every second, every minute, are dying to hug you. I see some of the people leaving. I want to give you hope that you will leave. We, the whole family, are waiting for you to leave, praying for you that G-d will protect you and the angels will protect you, Amen. I love you and miss you very, very much."

For each hostage still in captivity, together let us remember them, breathe with them, send light, love, healing and air to the darkness in which they find themselves, and echo the immense urgency of their return.

The goal of "Count until they come back 🎗️🎗️🎗️" is to flood the networks with constant awareness of the abductees and the immediate need to return them all - the living to their families and the dead to a proper burial.

To facilitate this goal, every day a picture of the number of days of captivity and the faces of the abductees is uploaded to the "Count until they come back 🎗️🎗️🎗️" whatsapp group. All members of the group are invited to update their profile pictures - on WhatsApp, Status, Facebook, Stories, Instagram and in every possible space, so that our faces are now the faces of the 59 abductees who are still in hell.

May we courageously envision a future that is liberated from a cycle of hatred, traumatic loss and deep heart ache. One that embodies the wisdom of Buckminster Fuller, “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
